Our Story
Derek Weatherhead
Derek was born & raised in Kamloops, BC. Derek is a loving, passionate & adventurous soul. His love for carpentry started while working for his aunt & uncles business where he built industrial boxes. He continued in the Carpentry trade practicing these skills building homes in Penticton, Calgary, Vernon, and Kelowna eventually getting his journeyman carpentry ticket. In 2009 Derek took an aptitude test online, and determined he'd enjoy being a real estate agent. Derek started with Royal LePage Kelowna in 2010 & has become an incredible, loyal, and award winning realtor in the Okanagan.
Sarah Soukeroff
Sarah was born & raised in Passmore, BC. Sarah is very loving, kind & nurturing. She moved to Nelson, BC when she was just 16 years old where she attended Professional Cooking Level 1 at Selkirk College. After completing this certificate she realized that she didn't want to pursue the trade of Cooking & started managing a small coffee shop in Nelson, BC. In 2012 she decided to make the move to join her little sister, Laura, in Kelowna, BC. Sarah went to Okanagan College where she received a diploma in Business Administration, with a minor in Human Resources. Immediately after finishing College Sarah started on her career path with TD Canada Trust. Sarah is now a Manager of Customer Experience at TD in Kelowna.
Sarah & Derek
Sarah & Derek met on 10/29/2016. It was Halloween weekend & Derek had his best friend, Justin, over from Kamloops. They had partied the night before so they decided to have a night-in when they invited Sarah over to join! Sarah left the previous Halloween party she was at, dressed as an alien, & met up with Justin & Derek. A few days later Derek had asked Sarah to go for Sushi with him. They uncovered lots about each other over Sushi & their love has been growing for one-another ever since! In 2017 after lots of discussion around their goals of owning real estate they purchased their first home in Kelowna on 11/30/2017. Since then, Sarah & Derek have been on a mission to achieve one goal at a time, to enjoy life, & to celebrate their love! They can't wait to celebrate their love with all of you on 07/08/2023 as they become Mr & Mrs Weatherhead.
